The U25 programme is a long term talent development programme aimed at supporting and developing riders and horses demonstrating talent and potential in Three Day Eventing, and the squad will be managed by Young Rider High Performance Manager Sally Corscadden.

IRELAND'S Aoife Clark produced an impressive show jumping performance this afternoon (Monday) to finish eighth overall at Britain's prestigious Badminton Horse Trials. Piloting the Irish Sport Horse Master Crusoe, the 31 year-old from Naas out-rode many of the world's most famous Three Day Eventing combinations to claim the coveted top ten place.

A TOTAL of eight Irish riders will compete at the world famous Badminton Horse Trials in England, which get underway tomorrow morning (Friday). In addition, some 27 of the 85 starters are Irish bred horses, representing countries such as the UK, the USA and New Zealand.

HORSE Sport Ireland has announced that Nick Turner will be the new High Performance Manager for Irish Eventing. Mr. Turner is a Fellow of the British Horse Society (FBHS) and was an accomplished eventer who completed in 13 four star events.

CURRAN FINISHES FIFTH AT WAREGEM WITH THE JUMP JET

ARMY rider Capt. Geoff Curran finished in fifth place at the three-star event at Waregem in Belgium yesterday, pulling the Irish Sport Horse The Jump Jet up from overnight 15th. Though holding third place after show jumping with another Irish Sport Horse, Bolabaun, an elimination on the cross country phase dropped the combination off the leaderboard.
