All roads lead to Dublin Horse Show this week

Dublin Horse Show kicks off today (Wednesday) at the RDS in Ireland’s capital city. Team Ireland Equestrian’s showjumpers will be aiming to regain the Aga Khan trophy in Friday’s FEI Nations Cup, the last leg in the 2017 Nations Cup Series. Action in the Main Arena kicks off at 15.00 GMT on Friday, with live coverage on RTE 2 commencing at 13.45.

Ireland’s underage showjumpers begin their European Championships this week, with teams lining out for Ireland at Samorin (SVK) for the Young Rider, Junior and Children On Horses Championships. Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, Irish riders will compete at Opglabbeek (BEL), Williamsburg Michigan (USA), San Giovanni In Marignano (ITA), Crete Illinois (USA), Valkenswaard (NED), St Lo (FRA) and Shongweni (RSA).

Also in European Championship action this weekend, will be Ireland’s underage dressage riders who compete in the Young Rider and Junior Championships at Roosendaal (NED). In eventing, action takes place at Hartpury (GBR) and at Le Pin Au Haras (FRA).
