Belgian Nations Cup Cancelled

Due to heavy rainfall in recent days Belgium’s Nations Cup has been cancelled. The show has reported that over 52mm of rain fell on Monday and 58mm on Tuesday (yesterday).

The FEI delegates today decided to cancel the CSIO5* (Nations Cup). The CSI2* and the CSI1*,  the two competitions that have started already will continue.

Speaking about the cancellation Ireland Showjumping Team Manager Robert Splaine said;

“The weather has been poor in Lummen and the forecast for the weekend is not good. I believe that they have made the right decision but it is disappointing as we have a strong team here and expected a good result”
