BREEDING: SIX IRISH SPORT HORSES THROUGH TO SUNDAY’S FINALS AT THE WORLD BREEDING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Six Irish Sport Horses have qualified for their respective finals at World Breeding Championships for Show Jumping horses in Belgium. The six combinations who have qualified are:

Ard Ginger Pop (ISH) & Angelica (IRL)

Little Beach (ISH) & Stacey Babes (GBR)

Pembrook Milenia (ISH) & Stacey Babes (GBR)

Mini Cruzano (ISH) & Thomas O’Brien (IRL)

7YO

Shantonagh (ISH) & Nicola Fitzgibbon (IRL)

Irish rider Bertram Allen, who finished best of the Irish in 7th at the World Equestrian Games, has also qualified his NRPS mare Barnike for Sunday’s Final.

Ard Ginger Pop (ISH) recently sold at the Goresbridge supreme sale of show jumpers in conjunction with the Irish Breeders Classic for €95,000, and now competing under Sweden’s Angelica Augustsson is one of the  5 Year Olds to qualify.
