Capt Geoff Curran wins Tattersalls round of the TRM/Horseware New Heights Champions Series

Waterford riders dominated today’s (Sunday) seventh round of the TRM/Horseware New Heights Champions Series at Tattersalls in Co Meath, filling two of the top three places.

Capt Geoff Curran (pictured) from Fenor in Waterford took the winners prize with the Minister For Defence’s Irish Sport Horse Shannondale Rahona. They produced the fastest of three double clear rounds (48.82) in the nine horse jump-off. Meath’s Nicolas Butler took runner-up spot with Vimminka in a time of 49.48. Kill Co Waterford’s Francis Connors also jumped double clear with Erne Ladygoldilocks to take third place (54.05).

Alexander Butler and Eldorado were the fastest of the four fault rounds against the clock to finish fourth, with Clem McMahon and Hilton Pacato in fifth and Kenneth Graham with George in sixth.
