European Championships in full swing at Fontainebleau

Team Ireland Equestrian riders compete in European Championship action in the disciplines of showjumping, eventing and dressage this week. In showjumping Ireland will be represented by three teams – Young Riders, Juniors and Children On Horses, in eventing by Young Riders and Juniors and in dressage Ireland fields an individual rider in the Children On Horses Championship.

On the showjumping circuit this week, Irish riders fly the flag at Falsterbo (SWE) with the Nations Cup of Sweden taking place at 12.00 GMT on Sunday. Elsewhere, action takes place at Chantilly (FRA), Crans-Montana (SUI), Knokke (BEL), Tryon North Carolina (USA) and Blaye (FRA).
