IRISH riders accounted for five top ten places at the Blair Castle Horse Trials in Scotland, which finished this afternoon (Sunday).
In the CIC three-star at Blair Castle, Suzanne Jordan and the Newry-bred roan gelding 'Carneyhaugh Conquistador' took a sixth place, while Wicklow's Mark Kyle finished in tenth on 'Coolio'.
The CCI two-star saw Cork's Austin O'Connor complete the event in eighth place with 'Lily Of The West', while Mark Kyle again featured in the top ten, this time with a ninth place on Algy Smith Maxwell's Irish-bred bay gelding 'Durlas Aris'.
In the CCI one-star class in Scotland, Orlaith Delamere and the Kildare-bred gelding 'Millridge Keano' were third.
