IRELAND claimed two top five places at the conclusion of Chatsworth's three-star event in England today (Sunday).

Riding the Enniscorthy-bred bay gelding 'The Only One', Jayne Doherty took fourth place, while Aoife Clarke was close behind in fifth on another Irish-bred, 'Master Crusoe'.

Both Irish riders went clear on the cross country phase, and Doherty was able to absorb four faults in show jumping today and still stay in the top five.

The Chatsworth winner was Britain's Ruth Edge with 'Caranaval Prince II'
