NINETEEN year-old Camilla Speirs from Kildare produced the best performance of the Irish contingent at Burnham Market in England today (Saturday) with a fourth-placed finish in the Q section of the three-star event with the Irish-bred 'Portersize Just a Jiff'.
The section was won by Australia's Paul Tapner on "Stormhill Michael' with second and third places going to Britain's Piggy French and Oliver Townend, respectively.
In the P section of the three-star event, last year's Tattersalls World Cup Qualifier winner Patricia Ryan was seventh with the Irish-bred 'Fernhill Clover Mist', while another Irish-bred horse, 'Ashdale Cruise Master', took first with Britain's Oliver Townend on board.
Carlow's Sam Watson piloted another Irish-bred, 'GFG Rambo Man' into ninth in the two-star event, which was won by Britain's Piggy French and 'Paris'.
