TWO hundred and fifty people last night (Thursday) attended the Horse Sport Ireland and West Cork Development Partnership information meeting held in Dunmanway, County Cork.

The information meeting outlined the grant supports that are now available to the Sport Horse Sector under the Rural Development Programme 2007 – 2013.

Speakers at the meeting included Joe Walsh and Mark Bolger (Horse Sport Ireland ), Ivan McCutcheon (West Cork Partnership), Ruth Fennell (Teagasc) and Kieran O’Gorman (West Cork Horse Breeders Co-op).
