A NEW events calendar has been launched by the Association of Irish Riding Clubs which conveniently brings together information about upcoming shows around the country.

The overhaul sees many new features being introduced including directions to venues, event schedules, entry forms and competitor times.

Members can search for a specific discipline within a county or region. There will also be a link to enter online for any national events.

Event organisers are being encouraged to provide this information to National Office to ensure it is available on the website.

A.I.R.C. Director General David Abbott said, "this overhaul will be extremely beneficial to our members as all of the information they need about our activities will be located in one place."

"I would encourage all of our event organisers to submit this information to National Office as they have it ready to ensure its given maximum exposure on our website," he added.
