Horse & Country is to broadcast an hour long highlights programme of the Horseware sponsored Team Showjumping Championship next week. The programme will first air on Monday 19th September 2011 at 19:00 and will be repeated on Friday 23rd September at 19:00.

The programme aims to encourage grassroots riders to become involved in the A.I.R.C. by demonstrating that anyone, from any walk of life, can become part of a winning team at the RDS. It features equestrian journalist Emer Bermingham, interviewing team managers, riders and personnel from the Association of Irish Riding Clubs.

Commentary is provided by international showjumper Paddy O'Donnell, who does an excellent job of educating the viewers on the finer points of the competition and giving an honest assessment of each competitors round.

A.I.R.C. Chairman, Tony Ennis, said; "It was a nailing biting competition to watch with it all coming down to the last rider into the arena. This programme was only made possible through the generous sponsorship of Horsware's Managing Director Tom MacGuinness."

Horse & Country is broadcast on Sky channel 280 and is also available free to air on channel 572.
