Press Release: Horse Sport Ireland announces changes to the Senior Eventing High Peformance Programme

HORSE Sport Ireland has announced a number of changes in the Senior Eventing High Performance Programme. Show Jumping coach Michael Quirke is unable to continue in his role due to increased international commitments with his own horses and Ian Fearon will take over the role for 2011. 2012 Olympic Qualification

The next opportunity for Ireland to qualify a team for the 2012 Olympic Games are at the European Championships in Luhmuhlen 25th to 28th August 2011. In the event that Ireland does not qualify in Luhmuhlen there is an opportunity to qualify through individual riders FEI Olympic Rankings.

Ranking commences on March 1st 2011 and runs until March 1st 2012.
