James Hogg claims victory in Barnadown

Intuitive (ISH) by Beach Ball (ISH) bred and owned by Edgar Hogg, and ridden by James Hogg jumped double clear in a time of 50.81 seconds to win the 7 Year Old Final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Barnadown Show. One of only 11 double clears in the 7 year old class, Hogg beat off stiff competition from the twenty-five combinations who made it through to the final.

In the 5 Year Old final, six combinations jumped double clear to split the win. While in the 6 Year Olds, there were only six clear rounds. There was €9,500 on offer in Barnadown from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes. The next leg takes place in Cavan on 19th and 20th May.
