LVS Wizard (ISH) & Philip McGuane take first leg of the 2016 Series

Barry O’Connor and Martin O’Dea’s Cobra (HOLST) gelding, LVS Wizard (ISH), took the 7 year old final of the 2016 Irish Sport Horses Studbook Showjumping Series at Louth County. Ten horses made it into the jump-off but it was LVS Wizard (ISH) and Philip McGuane who were triumphant, jumping double clear in a time of 41.17 seconds.

In the 5 year old final, nine Irish Sport Horses produced double clear rounds to share the prize fund, while in the 6 year old final 15 combinations jump two fault free rounds. There was €9,500 on offer for these young horse classes from Horse Sport Ireland. The next leg in the 2016 Series takes place at Barnadown, which runs from 6^th to 8^th May.
