HSI has an HSI Level 1 Apprentice Coach course scheduled for 2nd and 3rd July 2013 at Kennedys Dohyle House Stud, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. This course is designed to cover the essential areas necessary to work competently as an apprentice coach at novice level. This course is accredited by Coaching Ireland.

HSI Coaching is delighted to announce more dates and venues for HSI Coaching Courses 2013. HSI Coaching courses are competition based coaching qualifications and are accredited by Coaching Ireland. All courses are led by professional equestrian tutors and use modern techniques to improve both horses' and riders' performance.

HSI Coaching is delighted to announce another date for the Cross Country / Eventing Day which is suitable for all HSI Introduction or Level 1 Apprentice coaches. This one day course costs €80 and will provide coaches with all of the basic skills and techniques to coach cross country at novice level.

HSI has recently introduced some important changes to the Coaching system. These include new HSI Coach insurance requirements and submission of a Child Protection course certificate.

The Show Jumping Ireland (SJI) Training Committee will host an information evening on the SJI 5 bar Mackey Training System in SJI offices on Friday 22nd February 2013 at 7:30pm. This information evening is aimed at HSI coaches but open to all who are interested.

HORSE Sport Ireland has scheduled an Introduction to Coaching Course to run at Annaharvey Farm Equestrian Centre, Tullamore, Co Offaly on Monday 18th February 2013. This course is the first step on the equestrian coaching ladder and offers coaches, young horse producers, parents, and students with the basic skills and techniques to coach at training level.

Conrad Schumacher will host a training day on Wednesday 28th November 2012 at Spruce Lodge, Redcross, Co. Wicklow. Over the next 12 months, Conrad will share his vast experience by running a series of workshops which will show step by step training of the horse and rider from the beginning stages all the way through to Grand Prix.
