HORSE Sport Ireland will host an Introduction to Coaching course at Gurteen College, Ballingarry, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday 7th February 2012. This course is accredited by Coaching Ireland and provides the initial step on the HSI Coaching ladder. The Introduction to Coaching course offers an opportunity for coaches, parents and young horse producers to learn the basic skills and techniques to coach successfully.

HORSE Sport Ireland is delighted to announce the Coaching course Spring 2012 schedule. All of these courses are accredited by Coaching Ireland. HSI Coaching courses are competition based coaching qualifications, using modern techniques to improve both horses' and riders' performance and are led by professional equestrian tutors.

HORSE Sport Ireland will hold two Equine Health & Safety Seminars in March 2011. The seminars are part of Horse Sport Ireland’s Shared Affiliate Programme and will be open to key health and safety members as nominated by each Affiliate Organisation.

THE first of Horse Sport Ireland’s Horse Sector Information seminars was held on Tuesday night in Teagasc Moorepark in Fermoy, Co. Cork. Over 100 people attended the seminar.

EVENTING Ireland held a Stewards Course at Tattersalls on Sunday 16 January with British Eventing’s Jonathan Clissold (FEI TD and CD, BE National Technical Adviser and Course Builder and National Safety Officer).

Horse Sport Ireland Coaching insurance is available for 2011. HSI accredited coaches can avail of the insurance from the 1st January 2011- 31st December 2011 at a cost of €250.00 per annum, please download application forms and return as stated. To download forms click here.

A CAPACITY crowd of 450 delegates attended yesterday’s (Tuesday) National Coaching Conference at Palmerstown House Stud in Co. Kildare, where presentations were made by Dr Gerd Heuschmann and Gary Rice.

WITH over 350 bookings the Horse Sport Ireland National Coaching Conference on November 23rd at Palmerstown House in Co. Kildare, which features Billy Twomey, Dr. Gerd Heuschmann and Ferdi Eilberg, is now at maximum capacity for the morning session.

Horse Sport Ireland is delighted to announce the details of the upcoming National Coaching Conference titled “COACHING THE MODERN SPORT HORSE AND RIDER”. The conference takes place on the 23rd November at the PGA Palmerstown House Stud in Johnstown, Naas and Kill International Equestrian Centre.
