HORSE Sport Ireland has confirmed the combinations to represent Ireland in the Young Rider (Under 21) Eventing Championships which will take place at Blair Castle from August 18th to 21st.

THE third qualifier of the Future Event Horse League (FEHL), in association with Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) took place on Wednesday 22nd June at Forth Mountain, Barntown, Co. Wexford. Fifty 4 year olds and twenty seven 5 year olds horses competed over the course of the day.

CORK'S Austin O'Connor was best of the Irish at the two-star event in Burgie, Scotland, which finished this afternoon (Sunday), taking a third place with 'Lily Of The West'.

THE second qualifier of the Future Event Horse League (FEHL), in association with Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) took place on Wednesday 15th June at Dollanstown Stud, Kilcock, Co Kildare. Over 60 horses competed in the 4 & 5 Year Old categories.

HORSE Sport Ireland has confirmed the Pony Eventing squad for the 2011 European Championships in Jaskowo, Poland from July 26th until 31st. Team Ireland Equestrian’s Pony Eventing High Performance Coach Sue Shortt said that the standard of performance from our ponies has improved every year.
