HORSE Sport Ireland has confirmed that Elizabeth Power’s horse 'Kilpatrick River' will not be able to compete at the World Equestrian Games next week due to an injury.

"IT IS with the deepest regret that the FEI announces that Sebastian Steiner, 22, suffered a fatal accident while competing at Montelibretti International Horse Trials in Italy at 15.25pm on 18 September 2010. Sebastian, who was representing Austria, was riding Cartago, a 15-year-old gelding, when they fell at fence number 11. The horse was not injured in the incident."
