YOUNG RIDER EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

All Young Riders wishing to be considered for selection for the 2012 Young Rider European Championships in Malmo and/or this year’s training programme should submit expressions of interest to Louise Donnelly by Tues 7th Feb on email: ldonnelly@horsesportireland.ie. In addition Young Riders wishing to be considered for this year should enter Combined Training @ Coilog on Sun 12th Feb

ELLIOT NAMES PROVISIONAL EVENTING SQUAD FOR 2012 TRAINING

TEAM Ireland Equestrian's Eventing High Performance Manager Ginny Elliot has named a provisional squad of 12 riders and 14 horses that will participate in a squad training programme in January and February of 2012.

STUART Tinney (AUS) and Panamera produced a superb Jumping clear today to clinch victory at the HSBC FEI Classics™ in Adelaide, the second leg of the 2012 series. The beautiful clear riding by Tinney on the 12-year-old Staccato mare gave him enough to elevate him to the victory dais with a total of 51.30 penalties.

IRELAND'S Ciaran Glynn claimed overall fourth place in the three-star event for eight and nine year-old horses at Blenheim Palace, England this afternoon (Sunday), maintaining a zero penalty score through both the show jumping and cross country phases.
