OMAGH, Co. Tyrone-based Edward Little was best of the Irish in this evening's (Sunday) four-star Grand Prix at Comporta, Portugal, finishing fourth with David Prentice's ten year-old grey Dutch-bred gelding 'Kalvinretto'.

IRISH riders and horses swept through tonight's (Saturday) speed class at Comporta in Portugal, with Conor Swail accounting for both first and fifth places and Tholm Keane taking third.

NINE combinations from a starting field of 37 made it through to the St. Patrick's Day jump-off in the HSI Chippison Grand Prix at Broadmeadows Equestrian Centre in Co. Meath this afternoon, but it was 20 year old Young Rider Frank Curran who escorted his father John's gelding 'Pepp' into the winner's enclosure.

SHOW Jumping at Comporta in Portugal moves up a gear to four-star level this weekend, and Team Ireland Equestrian is represented by twelve riders, including World No. 15 Jessica Kurten with five horses and former World Champion Dermott Lennon, who will line out with four.

LYNCH THIRD IN GERMAN GRAND PRIX AT BRAUNSCHWEIG

WITH eleven through to the jump-off at Braunschweig's Grand Prix in Germany this afternoon (Sunday), it looked like Ireland's Denis Lynch had a good chance of snatching the first prize of a Volkswagen car when he went clear with 'Abbervail van het Dingeshof', but his stay at the top of the leaderboard was short-lived.

TWENTY year-old Alex Duffy took the winner's laurels at this afternoon's (Sunday) accumulator competition at Villeneuve de Loubet, France, but failed to repeat his Grand Prix victory of last week.

CIAN O'Connor chalked up his second win of the HSI Chippison Spring Tour when he powered the 13 year-old gelding 'Complete' across the line at Kill International Equestrian Centre in this evening's (Sunday) Grand Prix with almost two seconds in hand over runner-up Paddy O'Donnell and the Irish-bred 'Harristown Princess'.

DERRY-born Trevor Coyle was best of the Irish in the Spanish Sunshine Tour Grand Prix today (Sunday), finishing fourth on 'Bijou van de Vijfheide' with a single time fault in the nine horse jump-off at Vejer de la Frontera.

DUFFY WINS FRENCH GRAND PRIX, BUTLER AND BREEN IN TOP TEN

TWENTY year-old Alex Duffy triumphed in this afternoon's (Sunday) Grand Prix at the French show in Villeneuve-Loubet when he took the 6250 euro first prize on the Edenrock Investments-owned stallion 'Tampa'. The Mayo-born rider went clear in both rounds, with Swiss runner-up Philipp Zuger well over a second behind on time with 'Liatos II".

FLOODY WINS THIRD LEG OF HSI CHIPPISON SPRING TOUR

JOHN Floody recorded a decisive win in the HSI Chippison Grand Prix at Killossery Lodge Stud this afternoon (Sunday) when he produced the competition's only double clear with Jim Monks's 13 year-old grey gelding 'Ashbourne'.
