IRISH RIDER KELLY WINS US HALL OF FAME AWARD

IRISH Junior rider Christina Kelly has been named the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for March in Lexington, Kentucky. Kelly, whose father Sean comes from Navan in Co. Meath, competes in the USA East Conference Junior division of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series aboard Camirage.

FIVE IRISH IN ROLEX WORLD TOP 50 RANKINGS

BILLY Twomey is Ireland's top listed rider in the latest Rolex World Jumping Rankings, issued today (Thursday), maintaining his number seven slot for the second month running due to consistent European Grand Prix results. Tipperary's Denis Lynch follows in eighth place, recently adding a victory in the Netherlands World Cup Qualifier to his list of Grand Prix successes.

MOLONEY THIRD IN FRENCH MASTERS

KILKENNY'S Eddie Moloney last night (Saturday) won 2,400 euro in the Masters' Class at the three-star show in Vidauban, France when finishing third on Tom McGurk's Irish-bred Aldatus Z mare 'Macushla R'.

WEXFORD'S Bertram Allen was best of the Irish in today's Pony Grand Prix at Barbizon, France, taking third place with 'Acapella Z'.

MOLONEY WINS FRENCH GRAND PRIX AFTER SUCCESSFUL WEEK

IRELAND'S Eddie Moloney rounded off a successful week in the south of France when he streaked home with well over two seconds in hand to win the Vidauban Grand Prix this afternoon (Sunday) on his own nine year-old Irish-bred gelding 'Slieveanorra'.

A VICTORY by Tipperary's Denis Lynch in this afternoon's World Cup Qualifier in the Netherlands now means that Ireland will have two competitors amongst the elite 18 riders who go through to the World Cup Final at Leipzig in Germany next month.

WITH just Bill Twomey now certainly qualified for show jumping's Rolex World Cup Final in Germany this May, fellow Irish riders Jessica Kurten and Denis Lynch will be making their last bid this weekend to be one of the elite 18 who compete for the coveted World Cup trophy at Leipzig.
