BILLY Twomey took Ireland's highest place of the weekend to date when finishing as runner-up in the 1m50 Jump Off class at Doha, Qatar tonight (Friday) with Sue Davies's gifted bay stallion 'Je t'Aime Flamenco'.

THOUGH France dominated the big feature class at the opening day of the five-star show in Doha, Qatar today (Thursday), two Irish riders took top ten places, both recording double clear rounds.

THE Irish-bred gelding 'Larkhill Cruiser' continued its notable run of good form at the Spanish Sunshine Tour tonight (Sunday) when finishing second with Cian O'Connor in the Grand Prix.

FOUR IRISH RIDERS IN PORTUGUESE GRAND PRIX TOP TEN

MARION Hughes took a third place for Ireland in the Portuguese Grand Prix at Comporta this evening (Sunday), riding Miguel Bravo's Irish-bred Cavalier Royale mare 'HHS Cashmere', with France's Penelope Leprevost the sole zero score in the first round, taking the trophy without a jump-off.

O'CONNOR'S LARKHILL CRUISER WINS AGAIN ON SUNSHINE TOUR

MEATH'S Cian O'Connor once again picked up 7,000 euro in prize money and Rolex ranking points this evening (Friday) on his second week at the annual Spanish Sunshine Tour at Vejer de la Frontera.

LYNCH THIRD IN GERMAN OPENER AT BRAUNSCHWEIG
