RICH Fellers from Wilsonville, Oregon and the Irish-bred stallion 'Flexible', owned by Harry and Mollie Chapman, continued to prove why they are the hottest horse-and-rider combination at the 2011 HITS Desert Circuit when they topped the field in the $31,000 Strongid C 2X Welcome Classic on Thursday night.

DENIS Lynch, Ireland's only competitor at Neumunster's Grand Prix in Germany this afternoon, narrowly missed taking first place in a tightly-fought battle at the finish with Belgium's Jan Vinckier, who stopped the clock just one-and-a-half seconds ahead of the Tipperary rider.
