HORSE Sport Ireland has announced details of their continued support of the HSI Chippison Spring Tour 2011. The Tour will run at 14 venues this year, with the action kicking off this weekend (Sunday) in Kildare International.

IRISH riders accounted for another two top five places at the World Cup show in Bordeaux today (Sunday), with Denis Lynch taking the runner-up position in the Accumulator class with 'Lacroix', and Jessica Kurten finishing fifth in the final round of the Ladies' competition, the Prix des Amazones, on 'Fashion'.

THIRTY-one year-old Cian O'Connor has been awarded the Leading Rider trophy after finishing second in the four-star Grand Prix at Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates today (Saturday) with the Irish-bred gelding 'Larkhill Cruiser'. O'Connor racked up a total of five second places during the three-day show.
