O'DWYER SECOND, MCCARTHY FIFTH IN BELGIAN PONY GRAND PRIX

IRISH European Pony Team Silver Medallist Emma O'Dwyer took the runner-up spot in this afternoon's (Sunday) Pony Grand Prix at Neeroeteren in Belgium with the Irish-bred 'Jacknell Street'.

BILLY Twomey added to Ireland's tally of top five places at the World Cup show in Stuttgart, Germany tonight (Saturday) when he claimed fourth place in the big 1m50 jump-off competition.

LYNCH FOURTH IN STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS

TIPPERARY-born Denis Lynch picked up prize money of 8,000 euro in the Mercedes German Masters competition at Stuttgart tonight (Friday), when taking a fourth place with Thomas Straumann's bay gelding 'Abbervail van het Dingeshof'.

TWOMEY KICKS OFF STUTTGART WITH A FIFTH

WITH a star-studded field of competitors in tonight's (Thursday) feature speed class at Stuttgart's World Cup show in Germany, it was Cork's Billy Twomey who came home fastest of the Irish, taking fifth place with Sue Davies's 13 year-old mare 'Tinka's Serenade'.

MOLONEY FIFTH IN POLISH GRAND PRIX

IN a tough competition that saw only one double clear round from a starting field of 46 competitors, Kilkenny's Eddie Moloney snatched fifth place in the Grand Prix at Leszno in Poland this evening (Sunday) riding his eight year-old Meath-bred chestnut gelding 'Slieveanorra'.

O'BRIEN SECOND IN POLISH WORLD CUP CLASS

ARMY rider Capt. David O'Brien took second place in the Polish World Cup Qualifier at the three-star show in Leszno tonight (Saturday) aboard the Minister for Defence's Co. Down-bred bay mare 'Kiltoom'.

LENNON TO THE FORE IN CANADIAN WORLD CUP SHOW

COUNTY Down-based Dermott Lennon clinched a fourth place in the World Cup Qualifier on Wednesday night at the Royal Winter Fair show at Toronto, Canada, riding Woods Rosbotham's gelding 'Hallmark Elite'.
