THE Rolex World Cup series continues this weekend in Toronto, Canada and Leszno in Poland, where a total of five Irish show jumpers will pursue points in two different leagues.

TWOMEY FIFTH IN ITALIAN WORLD CUP COMPETITION

BILLY Twomey took a fifth place in the World Cup Qualifier competition at Verona's five-star show in Italy today (Sunday), recording one of just seven double clear rounds in a 40-strong starting field.

LYNCH TAKES THIRD IN MUNICH GRAND PRIX

TIPPERARY'S Denis Lynch collected 12,000 euro for his third place at the four-star Grand Prix in Munich, Germany, this afternoon (Sunday), aboard Thomas Straumann's Belgian-bred gelding 'Abbervail van het Dingeshof'.

KURTEN EIGHTH, O'CONNOR TENTH IN ITALIAN GRAND PRIX

IRISH riders took two top ten places in this afternoon's (Saturday) Grand Prix at the World Cup show in Verona, Italy, with Jessica Kurten finishing in eighth and Cian O'Connor in tenth.

INTERNATIONAL show jumping classes begin at the Cavan one-star show tomorrow (Friday) with the Gain Horsefeed Welcome Stakes at 4.30pm, followed by the WKD Jump Off Class at 7.30pm.

DENIS Lynch was best of the Irish at today's (Sunday) World Cup Qualifier at the five-star Lyon show in France, with an eighth place and 7,000 euro in prize money.

IRELAND'S pony riders once again dominated the action at Chevenez in Switzerland today (Sunday) with a near-whitewash in the Pony Grand Prix and two more awards in the European Challenge Cup series.

IRELAND'S pony riders pulled off an impressive double in Switzerland this afternoon (Friday) when they not only won the Swiss Nations' Cup but also clinched the European Challenge Cup, which is based on the number of Nations' Cup wins achieved in 2010.

TWOMEY SCORES SPANISH HAT TRICK WITH GRAND PRIX WIN

WITH one of his by now characteristic high-speed finishes, Ireland's Billy Twomey scooped the first prize in tonight's Barcelona Grand Prix with a four-second lead over his nearest challenger and racked up his third win of the weekend at the five-star show.
