THE HSI National Reining and Western show took place yesterday (Saturday) in Mullingar Equestrian Centre. There were three main prizes. The show was a huge success with over 30 different horse and rider combinations competing.
Leading Youth Rider of the show was Heather O'Brien, aged 14, from Kildare. She was riding Ishwaras Risky Keno.
Winner of the Novice High Point competition was Alessia Stocca who is from Italy and lives in Galway, She was riding her own horse Arwen D Black Inside.
Winner of the Preliminary High Point competition was Sinead Day who lives in Galway. She was riding her own horse Double Tree.
