Pender claims victory in Mullingar International

HHS Fortune (ISH) by Catoki (HOLST) bred and owned by Marion Hughes and ridden by Mikey Pender jumped double clear in a time of 36.63 seconds to win the 7 Year Old Final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Mullingar International Show. One of only 15 double clears in the 7 year old class, Pender beat off stiff competition from the twenty-five combinations who made it through to the final.

In the 5 Year Old final, twelve combinations jumped double clear to split the win. While in the 6 Year Olds, there were only six clear rounds. There was €9,500 on offer in Mullingar from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes. The next leg takes place in CoilOg on 30^th June and 1^st July.
