Primo Troy (ISH) and Francis Connors victorious at Barnadown

Francis Connors and the Clinton (HOLST) gelding Primo Troy (ISH), owned by Michael Hayden and Paul O’Shea, jumped double clear in a time of 38.15 seconds to win the 7 Year Old Final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Barnadown. One of only five double clears in the 7 year old class, Connors beat off stiff competition from the nine combinations who made it through to the jump-off.

In both the 5 Year Old Final and 6 Year Old Final, ten combinations jumped double clear to split the win. There was €9,500 on offer at Barnadown from Horse Sport Ireland for these young horse classes. The next leg takes place in Cavan on 14^th and 15^th May.
