NATIONAL ANTI-DOPING RULES FOR ALL IRISH EQUESTRIAN DISCIPLINES INTRODUCED FOR FIRST TIME

NATIONAL anti-doping rules for all equestrian disciplines have been introduced in Ireland for the first time. The new rules were passed unanimously at a board meeting of Horse Sport Ireland today (Friday). The rules will come into effect in equestrian disciplines in Ireland from April 1st next.

SUPA Ireland sent three teams over to London recently to compete in the Capitals Tournament at Royal County Berkshire Polo Club, which was arranged between the University of London and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). Teams from various London universities, Cambridge, RCSI and the University of Limerick competed across three divisions which saw some fantastic early-season arena polo.
