		<title>IRISH SPORT HORSE STUDBOOK SHOWJUMPING SERIES 2010 - GRAND FINALS</title>

		<description>&lt;p&gt;The Grand Finals of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series 2010 will take place this weekend at the Tattersalls Ward Union Hunt International CSI2* Show, which runs from 23rd to 25th July. This weekend&amp;rsquo;s Grand Finals are the culmination of this year&amp;rsquo;s Series for 5 year old and 6/7 year old Irish Sport Horses, which has ran at six qualifying venues throughout the country. The 6/7 year old Grand Final will take place on Saturday with the 5 year old Grand Final being held on Sunday.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There will be &amp;euro;15,500 on offer for the Grand Finals at Tattersalls this weekend including League and breeders prizes. In addition, the top two horses in the League in each age category (5, 6 &amp;amp; 7 year olds) will gain automatic qualification to represent the Irish Sport Horse Studbook at the World Breeding Championships for Young Horse, Lanaken 2010. &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Currently leading the 5 year old League is James Hogg and Interpreter (ISH) on 25 points, with Peter Smyth and Cruising Lux (ISH) sitting in second place on 20 points. Clem McMahon and Wilywonty (ISH) hold the lead in the 6/7 year old League on 28 points, with Peter Smyth lying in second here also with Victoria Rose (ISH) on a score of 25.&lt;br /&gt;

		<title>EIA (SWAMP FEVER) WARNING IN UK ISSUED BY DEFRA</title>

		<description>EQUINE infectious anaemia (EIA), otherwise known as Swamp Fever, has been detected in two horses in Wiltshire in Britain following importation from Romania via Belgium, Defra (UK Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs) confirmed today (Tuesday).

The premises is currently under restriction and the two infected horses will be humanely destroyed in line with existing regulations. The other horses on the premises will be subject to epidemiological investigation in the coming weeks. A further two horses have also been under investigation and test results have proved negative.</description>
