TWENTY one year-old Alex Duffy scored two wins and a fifth place for Ireland at the three star show in Ebreichsdorf, Austria, this weekend, netting himself 15,000 euro in prize money.

The Mayo rider took his first prize purse on Thursday with a fifth in the jump-off class on Sandra Duffy's Cruising gelding 'World Cruise', and followed up on Saturday with victory in the Winning Round competition on Gill Tiernan's 'Ucorado B'.

Today (Sunday), Duffy again took the winner's laurels, this time in the Gold Tour Final on Susan O'Shea's grey gelding 'Courtown', beating Swiss challenger Alain Jufer and 'Vennoot' by a comfortable two-and-a-half seconds in the 14 horse jump-off.
