LIMERICK'S Joan Greene came closest to claiming the Vodafone Grand Prix at Balmoral, Northern Ireland this afternoon (Friday) when placing second with Tim O'Shea's 'Biscaya d'Eversem' on a double clear round.
Britain's Vicky Tulloch won the six-horse jump off with 'Soliegette', but Irish riders dominated the rest of the top ten with Clem McMahon in fourth on 'Valentino', Trevor Breen in fifth with 'Adventure de Kannan', and Dermott Lennon, Alex Duffy and Paul O'Shea also in contention.
English raider Tulloch took home £3,500 for her victory, while Greene collected £2,800 for her second place.
