HORSE Sport Ireland has confirmed Children on Horses and Junior teams as
well as three Young Riders who will compete as individuals at the
European championships which will take place in Haras de Jardy, France
from 13-18 July, 2010.
The Children on Horses Show Jumping team in alphabetical order is:

The Young Riders who will compete as Individuals in alphabetical order

Team Ireland Equestrian's Children on Horse's/Junior/ Young Rider
Jumping High Performance Manager John Ledingham said "We're really
looking forward to the European Championships. It's a marvellous
opportunity for all these youngsters to compete at such a high level. I
want to thank the High Performance Committee of Heather Coyle and Liam
Murphy for their work on the programme," he said.
Meanwhile, Vincent Byrne was announced as the winner of the Army
Equitation School Bursary this week by Horse Sport Ireland High Performance Coach Comdt
John Ledingham. Under the bursary Vincent will get to spend two weeks in
the Equitation School with two horses including attending an
International show.
Also at the presentation at the Army Equitation School, where the Junior
and Children on horses riders were preparing for the European
championships, were new riding officers at the Army Equitation School,
2nd lieutenants James Heelan from Limerick and David Power from Kilkenny
who recently joined the school.
