THE FINAL round of the HSI Chippison Spring Tour will take place in Coilog, Co. Kildare, this Sunday (April 18). At present John Floody leads the league with 44 points followed by Ger O’Neill on 32 points and Cian O’Connor on 31 points.

With double points available to the winner on Sunday and O'Connor jumping abroad at Lummen this weekend, Ger O’Neill could still snatch the league from John Floody. Conor Drain currently leads the Young Rider category, with Bill Kennedy's 'KEC Alicante' being the leading Irish Sport Horse.

Horse Sport Ireland Chairman Joe Walsh said the league had been a great success with strong numbers participating and some very good performances from young riders and strong showing by Irish-bred horses.

“Four rounds of the league have been won by Young Riders and Irish-bred horses have been very prominent throughout which is promising for the future,” he said.

After 12 legs the final of the HSI Chippison Spring Tour, which is organised by the Showjumpers' Club, takes place on Sunday at 2pm in Coilog, with over 100 combinations entered to jump.
