IRELAND once more has two riders in the top ten of the Rolex show jumping world rankings list, which was published today (Thursday).

Tipperary-born Denis Lynch moves up two places to number eight, while Cork's Billy Twomey also gains two places to enter the rankings at number nine.

Ireland now has six riders in the top 100, with Cian O'Connor at number 56, Shane Breen at number 63, Shane Sweetnam at number 72, and Jessica Kurten at number 75.

The Rolex World Rankings list, compiled monthly by the FEI, the world governing body, has over 2,000 international riders competing for places. The current leader is Canada's Eric Lamaze.
