JESSICA Kurten continued her sparkling form at La Coruna's five-star Spanish venue tonight (Saturday) with a runner-up finish in the show's main Grand Prix of the weekend.

Once again riding Lady Georgina Forbes's ten year-old chestnut mare 'Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois' - who gave her a significant victory on Friday night - Kurten was one of ten combinations to qualify for the second round, but was unable to catch the fleet-of-foot grey mare 'Nobless M' piloted by Switzerland's Pius Schwizer, who had well over two seconds in hand when the clock stopped.

Kurten added a further 26,000 euro to her La Coruna prize money haul, while Schwizer took home 39,000 euro for his victory.
