A BACK-in-form Jessica Kurten scooped the 24,000 euro first prize in tonight's (Friday) big feature class at the five-star show in La Coruna, Spain, riding Lady Georgina Forbes's ten year-old chestnut mare 'Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois'.

Antrim-born Kurten, who is now based in Germany, was one of just six through to the Spanish jump-off from a starting field of 33, and shaded Netherlands challenger Gerco Schroder by just over a sixth of a second in the final round to take the trophy.

Earlier, Kurten had picked up a further 3,600 euro prize money by riding two horses in the evening speed class and claiming both fourth and fifth places.
