TIPPERARY'S Denis Lynch scored his second win of the weekend at Paderborn in Germany today (Sunday) taking the 5,000 euro first prize in the Two Phase competition.
The 34 year-old Munster-based rider once again piloted Flaminia Straumann's 15 year-old bay gelding 'Lacroix 9', and beat off a final round challenge from Germany's Andreas Kreuzer, who was riding Paul Schockemöhle's chestnut stallion 'Quicksilber', and stopped the clock just a quarter of a second off Lynch's time.
'Lacroix' also produced a first place for Lynch and another 5,000 euro in prize money in Friday's speed class at the four-star show.
