TIPPERARY'S Denis Lynch stayed in the ribbons all day today (Sunday) at the four-star show at Balve in Germany, with a runner-up place in the Grand Prix the most profitable of his achievements.
Bringing out his stable's top horse, Thomas Straumann's 'Lantinus', for the last class of the four-day show, the 34 year-old netted 18,000 euro when finishing on a double clear round in the Grand Prix, just .06 of a second off the pace of Dutch winner Albert Zoer.
Earlier, Lynch claimed third place in the final of the Balve Middle Tour with Straumann's 'All Inclusive NRW', and had a ninth in the Young Horse Final with his own 'Contiflex'.
