AWARD-winning Mullingar Show brings a three-day festival to the midlands from June 5 this year, with an international CSI2* and 60,000 euro in prize money.

The six international classes will include a 20,000 euro Grand Prix, and there will also be 50 national classes for horses and ponies, as well as Horse Sport Ireland Studbook classes.

Westmeath Hospice will once again benefit this year from the pony/professional pairs relay novelty event, with local pony riders having qualified throughout the year to partner their senior show jumping heroes.

Extra viewing areas, a new sand arena and supplementary parking to cater for the expected increase in both competitors and spectators all add to the further improvement in facilities put in place by the show organisers.
