SHOW Jumping team manager Robert Splaine this evening (Thursday) named the Irish team that will compete in tomorrow's crucial first leg of the 2010 Meydan Nations' Cup series in La Baule, France.
Ireland is drawn sixth to jump of the world's top ten nations on Friday afternoon, and the team will line out in the following jumping order:
Shane Breen; Carmena Z
Niall Talbot; Tequi d'I
Darragh Kenny; Obelix
Cameron Hanley; Southwind VDL
The Meydan Super League will feature just eight competitions, concluding at the Dublin Horse Show in August, and early points are vital for Ireland to avoid possible relegation when the 2010 series ends, with the four lowest-scoring teams being dropped from the elite group of the world's top ten show jumping nations.
