ROTTERDAM tomorrow (Friday) sees the final leg of the 2011 show jumping FEI Superleague, and Team Ireland Equestrian's show jumping manager Robert Splaine tonight announced his team to jump in the following order:

Niall Talbot/Nicos De La Cense
Alexander Butler/Will Wimble
Denis Lynch/Abbervail van het Dingeshof
Billy Twomey/ Romanov

Ireland, who will jump in sixth place tomorrow, are currently ranked fourth of the world's top eight teams, and are now sure to remain in the Superleague for 2012, with Denmark and the USA in the relegation zone ahead of the last Nations' Cup in the 2011 series.

Earlier today at Rotterdam, Cork's Billy Twomey took a fifth place in the Two-Phase competition on 'Tinka's Serenade', with Shane Breen and 'Luikka' in seventh. Breen also notched up a sixth place earlier in the speed competition with 'Balloon'. Both competitions were won by in-form British rider Laura Renwick.
