SWAIL FOURTH IN FRENCH GRAND PRIX

MALAHIDE-based Conor Swail added to his recent run of Grand Prix successes today (Sunday) with a fourth place at the Grand Prix at Sandillon in France.

With one fence down in the seven horse jump-off, Swail and the eight year-old Guidam stallion 'Lansdowne' settled for 4,000 euro prize money for their place. The Grand Prix trophy and 10,000 euro went to the double clear round of France's Franck Schillewaert and 'Marquis De La Lande'.

The 39 year-old Co. Down-born rider and 'Lansdowne' have also taken top five Grand Prix places this season at Arezzo, San Giovanni and Pioltello in Italy, and Fontainebleau in France.
