TG4 will broadcast one-hour highlight programmes of five legs of the 2010 Meydan Nations' Cup series, beginning on Friday July 9.

All the programmes will be broadcast on Friday nights at 7.30pm and will concentrate on Irish performances and will feature interviews with Irish riders.

HSI Chairman Joe Walsh said that it was important that equestrian sport featured on terrestrial television.

"These highlights have an Irish angle. They will be broadcast at a good time and lead in perfectly to the Failte Ireland Dublin Horse Show," he said.

The programmes will also be repeated on Sunday mornings, but viewers should check with the Irish Field or the Team Ireland Equestrian Facebook page for confirmation of Sunday broadcast times, as these may change.

The shows featured in the series will be St. Gallen, Rotterdam, Falsterbo, Aachen and Dublin.
