BILLY Twomey moved up a gear at London Olympia's five-star show this evening when taking fourth place in the big jump-off class with Sue Davies's chestnut mare 'Tinka's Serenade'.
Recording his best result of the weekend so far, the 33 year-old Cork rider was one of 17 combinations to make the cut for the jump-off, and collected 2,500 euro for his place after stopping the clock just under too seconds slower than in-form British winner Guy Williams with 'Torinto van de Middlestede'.
Twomey will be taking part in tonight's Puissance competition at Olympia's Christmas show, but is also in the frame for what will be a hotly-contested World Cup qualifier competition on Sunday, and the Olympia Grand Prix on Monday.
