THE Global Champions' Tour moves to the historic breeding town of Chantilly in France for its seventh 285,000 euro Grand Prix this weekend, and top Irish show jumpers Jessica Kurten, Denis Lynch and Billy Twomey will all be bidding for points and a share of the prize money.
The 2010 Tour wraps up in Rio de Janeiro at the end of August, when the top 18 riders will take a share of the one million euro bonus on offer. At the moment Kurten is ranked 4th in the Global Champions leaderboard, Twomey 21st and Lynch 33rd.
Irish riders will also compete in show jumping from tomorrow at Gera in Germany, Vimeiro in Portugal, Bromont in Canada, Le Mans in France and Nordlingen in Germany.
Ireland also hosts its own international at Tattersalls in Co. Meath, beginning on Friday and running through to Sunday.
In dressage, meanwhile, Angela Crane will be the sole Irish representative at Strassen's three-star show in Luxembourg.
