Team Ireland Equestrian set for first European Nations Cup of 2018

Team Ireland Equestrian’s showjumping team will line out for the first of the European legs in the Longines FEI Nations Cup Series 2018. Nations Cup action kicks off at Samorin (SVK) at 12.00 GMT on Sunday, while the Grand Prix will move to the traditional Nations Cup day of Friday. Samorin will be the first of Ireland’s five points-scoring rounds in Europe Division 1.

Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, Irish riders will compete at Hagen (GER), Eschweiler (GER), Maubeuge (FRA), Lexington Kentucky (USA), Bonheiden (BEL), Chepstow (GBR), Busto Arsizio (ITA), Uniondale New York (USA) and Moorsele (BEL). In eventing, Ireland will be represented in the prestigious CCI 4* at Lexington Kentucky (USA). In endurance, four Irish riders will compete at the test event for WEG 2018, which runs at Tryon North Carolina (USA).
