  • Cian O’Connor and Good Luck win individual Bronze at the FEI Senior European Show Jumping Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden.
  • Irish Senior Show Jumping Teams win Nations Cups in Drammen CSIO3*, Ocala CSIO4*, and Wellington CSIO4*.
  • Sarah Ennis and Horseware Stellor Rebound (ISH) finish 7th at the 2017 European Eventing Championships in Strzegom, Poland.
  • Judy Reynolds and Vancouver K record in Fontainbleau, France.in GP Special at Aachen CDIO5*. This year, Judy and Vancouver K also won the GP Freestyle at Dortmund CDI5* and placed 4th at the World Cup Final in the GP Freestyle.
  • The GAIN Equine Nutrition Irish Pony (Under 16) Show Jumping Team win Gold at the FEI European Championships in Kaposvár, Hungary.

  • Irish Sport Horse crowned leading studbook at the FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Eventing Championships for Young Horses, at Le Lion d’Angers, France. The Irish Sport Horse Studbook has won this title for 22 out of the last 24 years.
  • Irish show jumpers win 10 out of 12 individual international classes at the Dublin Horse Show 2017.
  • Ireland has 10 showjumpers, 6 eventers, 1 dressage rider, 1 para-dressage rider and 2 endurance riders in the Top 100 of their respective World Rankings as of December 2017.
2016

  • Denis Lynch finishes fifth in the Longines FEI World Cup Finaat Gothenburg, Sweden.
  • Irish Investec Senior Show Jumping Team win Nations Cupsat both CSI4* Wellington, USA and CSI5* St Gallen, Switzerland.
  • Camilla Speirs and Portersize Just A Jiff (ISH) finish in the top ten at both CCI4* Badminton, UK and CCI4* Pau, France.
